YOGA FOR MORE REST

Please join me for a gentle and accessible class that is inspired by restorative Yoga practices and adaptive Yoga sequences.
This class will be accessible to anybody who has a bed or a comfy floor. All postures and sequences and time will be spent will be done lying on your side and on your back.
Accessible to all from complete beginners, very young, experienced, very old and everyone in between. It is ideal if are recovering from illness or surgery, struggle to balance or stand, struggle to put weight on your hands, knees or feet, are worried about being able to get up again from a yoga mat.
This for you if need more rest, struggle to get to sleep or are new to yoga and meditation this might be worth a try.
This class is suitable for all levels and abilities. If you usually practice chair based Yoga you may prefer to do this on your bed for ease of getting onto your back.
Each pose will be designed to encourage your body and mind to rest. The slow pace and support we will create for each pose will aid your sense of comfort and prepare a quieter mind and greater sense of stillness over all, allowing for effortless rest.
For this class you need:
A mat or a mattress.
a flat surface like a bed or floor
A chair or wall near by that you can easily access from where you will practice.
A bolster (cushions or pillows)
Covers from your bed or additional blanket.
Not much on afterwards.
4pm on the last Sunday of every month and recorded so available for practice at a time that suits you.
